Affiliate Disclosure Guide

If you share DevOps AI Toolkit referral links, you must tell your audience you may earn a commission. It’s required by the FTC (and equivalents elsewhere), and it’s in the program terms. It’s also just good practice — engineers trust honest recommendations.

The rules of thumb

  • Clear and conspicuous: put the disclosure near the link, not buried in a footer or behind a “more” fold.
  • Plain language: “affiliate link”, “I earn a commission”. Avoid vague terms like “sp” or “collab” alone.
  • Every placement: disclose wherever the link appears — each post, video, and email.
  • Honest claims only: describe the Toolkit accurately; don’t promise outcomes we don’t.
